I just made my announcement as candidate for representative of the Tourism Functional Constituency in the upcoming Legislative Council Elections 2008.
My election platform includes reform of both the travel industry and the institutions which govern Hong Kong’s tourism industry. I am also calling for better planning for Hong Kong as a place to live and enjoy and to ensure the long term sustainability of our tourism industry. I am calling for a differentiation of tourism destinations and improvement of infrastructure.
I will explain my ideas in more detail to you, my fellow industry workers, over the coming weeks. I would also like to hear and discuss with you on your concerns about the industry, do call me or drop me a line.
Meanwhile please visit my website, and read my press release, and learn about me and what I want to do for the travel industry.

Waht makes u better than the other guys? I have such bad experience with the other three guys. One is a legal who thinks as that tourism is the easiest way to fame; the other is a retired tour guide; and Joe Tung has never been able to resolve problems running TIC, so what can anyone expect of him in LegCo?
(We need a new approach, but I'm not sure I'm you fan yet)
