1號候選人謝偉俊承認沒有實際的旅行社業務；此外, 他更不斷地狙擊4號候選人董耀中承認以往在旅遊業議會的工作並不有效, 及質疑董若進入立法會後會做得更好的承諾,可惜沒有人認為董可以做到。2號候選人葉慶寧說了很多以往的逸事, 但並未能提供對業界有正面作用的實際方案。不過, 他的故事確可令人開懷大笑。

作為3號候選人的我, 專注改善香港的本地旅遊, 同時有效利用電台及電視媒體為旅遊代理商的意見表達渠道, 向大眾解釋需要收取服務費的原因, 當中包括信用咭手續費。

In case you missed it, the four candidates contesting the Tourism seat in LegCo battled it out in an industry forum, an RTHK radio debate and on RTHK TV this week.

Candidate No. 1 admitted he has no travel business. Other than that, he did not stop yelling at Candidate No. 4, who admitted that he was not very effective in TIC, and then promised that he could do better in LegCo; no one thinks he can. Candidate No. 2 spoke a lot about the good old days, except he offered no solutions for the future, but his stories got everyone laughing.

As Candidate No. 3, I focused on the hard work I put into improving our city for inbound tourism, and used the radio and TV time to explain that travel agents need to charge service fees, including for credit card payments.
